I am an animal behavior professor that decided to tackle the problem of stray cats in Johnstown PA through a TNR program and cat rescue. I specialize in turning street cats into house cats with love and time. A team of dedicated fosters, volunteers and fellow JAWS members helps me in my mission to improve the lives of animals in Johnstown, PA. 

Your donations help me spay and neuter street cats and provide all necessary vetting, food and care to my rescues. 

Flood City Kitties is a husband and wife run foster based rescue that focuses on vetting, fostering and adopting out homeless and displaced animals.

Amarisa and Ryan are long time animal lovers and volunteered and fostered with several Blair county groups before moving to Johnstown. Born out of a need for helping local animals, they started Flood City Kitties out of a spare bedroom in their home and have grown to have multiple fosters that help work towards their mission.

They primarily take in found strays and owner surrendered cats but are sometimes able to assist with small mammals and dogs. All animals are fixed, tested, vaccinated and behavior tested prior to being available for adoption.

C&F Community Cat Tails works in the community to help curb the population of stray and feral cats. We work in rescue, TNR, and adoption of rescues. We try to encourage the community to step up and help us in our mission. We are part of a collaboration of rescues that formed the Johnstown Animal Welfare Society. Working as a larger group we hope to have a greater impact on helping the cats in our community.

The Mission at Cinnamon's Closet is to support pet food pantries, rescue groups and fostering animals for rescue partners. All donations are given in honor of Cinnamon, a shelter dog who never got to leave the shelter but rather lives on in every animal helped. 

IAATC seeks to help humanely manage outdoor cat populations by trapping, steriliing (spaying/neutering), vetting and returning them to their original locations. Our aim is to reduce suffering, control overpopulation and promote community welfare through education, compassion and humane practices.
